What we’ve been up to : In 2022, Chance announced a Series A of 12M€ and launched the “Appel Solidaire”, a manifesto signed by more than 2000 personalities who agreed to open their professional network to Chance users that have built a solid professional project aligned with who they are.
Today, Chance is a team of ~70 employees, supported by a community of over 300 partner coaches. The central goal is to build a robust and independent social company for the long term, and to achieve this Chance is now embarking on a significant expansion phase to complete its product offering and fulfill the market opportunity at scale.
Missions
Chance’s core BtoC product is a personalized digital career orientation program that enables self-reflection, exploration and career validation over a twelve weeks period. The program blends around 100 immersive activities, guiding users to reveal their aspirations and strengths, with 9 sessions with a professional career coach selected for each individual.
Your mission is to drive BtoC growth by leading our acquisition strategy and team, optimizing our funnel and identifying growth levers through a structured and scalable approach.
As a key member of the Chance team, you will lead all aspects of lead acquisition and BtoC growth for Chance in a key period of expansion. Using the various digital levers at your disposal, (your mission is to 10x Chance’s user base) in order to deliver high-value social impact at scale.
This implies
- owning our online advertising campaigns across social, search and display channels to generate a strong & constant influx of leads;
- defining, implementing and scaling our SEO strategy to drive qualified organic traffic to our website;
- leading funnel optimisation efforts to increase website-visit-to-meeting-booked to sales conversion;
- building and optimizing automated nurturing sequences to increase booking rates & reduce no-show;
- laying down strong user tracking & data foundations that will allow you to properly monitor your impact;
Operating as a key partner to sales, brand & tech teams you’ll be managing 2 senior team members and 1 intern, with potential to grow your team as you perform.
As Chance’s growth expert, you’ll be expected to own acquisition KPIs (volume, conversion & costs) and provide leadership with an overview of our funnel’s performance as well as a clear vision on how to significantly boost it.
Tasks
What will be my day to day tasks?

- Online Advertising (a.k.a SEA, SMA & Display);
=> Media Buy : Set up & operate all paid acquisition campaigns: creatives coordination, audiences definition, bidding monitoring, day-to-day optimisations;
=> Media Strategy : Manage the monthly budget for your market and making strategic budget allocations between channels: Search, Social, Display/Programmatic & Affiliates;
=> Ad Creatives & Landing Pages : Coordinate internal & external contributors to the campaigns (graphic designers, traffic manager, copywriters);
=> Experimentation : Define a "test & learn" strategy (new creatives, new acquisition channels, new audiences, new landing pages) to identify growth opportunities.
- Search Engine Optimisation (a.k.a Content, Technical & Authority);
=> Keyword Research : Identify the keywords relevant to our business, prioritize them based on precise criteria (traffic, competition, relevance...) and group them in homogeneous semantical cocoons;
=> Content Production : Define Chance’s programmatic and editorial content strategy to rank on target keywords and build a scalable & cost-effective content pipeline to deliver it;
=> Link Building : Define and execute the netlinking strategy to increase our domain authority;
=> Rank Tracking & Technical Optimisation : Track and report on the performance of your actions and make sure our website stays SEO friendly;
- Funnel Optimisation (a.k.a CRO & No-Code);
=> Design System : Build, maintain & continuously improve our website design system and landing pages to increase website-visit-to-form-started conversion;
=> Inbound Forms : Build, maintain & continuously improve our lead capture forms to increase form-started-to-form-submitted conversion;
=> A/B Testing : Define, implement and monitor multivariate A/B tests to improve conversion across our prospects’ journey (with inputs from design, tech & brand stakeholders);
=> Speed, Accessibility & Performance : Monitor technical indicators (such as Google CoreWebVitals & SemRush Site Health) and maintain a score above 90%.
- Lead Nurturing (a.k.a CRM & Outreach);
=> Sequences Building : Create automated multi-channel (email & sms) sequences to provide relevant information to our prospects, at the right time & via the right medium;
=> Touchpoints Optimisation : Continuously monitor & improve the performance of those sequences by A/B testing each touchpoint’s and customizing messages;
=> Email Templates & Visuals : Work closely with the Brand team to create jaw-dropping content that will make Chance’s communications stand out;
=> Tracking & Monitoring : Work closely with the tech team to implement the events & properties you need to tailor your communications to each prospect’s specific needs;
- Growth Engineering (a.k.a Tracking & Data);
=> Event Tracking : Own event tracking and make sure we collect reliable behavioral data across our acquisition funnel (both client & server-side);
=> Business Intelligence : Define rule-based groupings of our traffic sources and collaborate with our data analyst to build end-to-end funnel monitoring dashboards that are both insightful and actionable;
=> Consent Management : Be responsible for consent management and ensure we’re compliant with regulations & best practices on user privacy;
=> Data & Automation : Shape, prioritize and implement data automation & enrichment pipelines to scale growth.
Requirements
What would the ideal candidate look like?
First, we seek to hire candidates who have personal interest to initiatives with a meaningful social impact and are committed to support our mission to make solidarity the engine for equal chances.
Hard skills
- Bilingual French and fluency in English : You have excellent written & verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail;
- 6+ years of experience in digital marketing and SEO : You have a proven track record managing best-in-class growth teams with notable results;
- Project management competencies : You are able to clearly communicate processes, strategies and requirements to both internal and external stakeholders and follow-up on the quality and timeliness of deliverables. You've already worked with design & tech agencies/freelancers;
- Mastery of Facebook & Google Ads platforms : You’ve owned 6 figures monthly acquisition budgets and creative production, campaign management and audience definition have no secret for you.
- No-code proficiency : You’ve had first hand experience with form builders (Typeform), website editors (Webflow), automation platforms (Zapier & Make) and scheduling services (Calendly & Cal).
- Analytics & performance oriented : You are able to build dashboards to easily follow & report on the performance of your projects. Bonus points if you've already used Metabase, Segment or DBT.

2. Chit-chat -- 30 min calls with us to assess your level of motivation and get to know each other including Carole Zibi, VP Marketing & Social Impact which the role reports into.
3. Case study homework -- We send you some homework, to-do in max 5 days (96 hours).
4. Case study presentation -- 1 hour call to let you present your work to a panel.
5. Culture fit -- 1 hour meeting with a few people from other departments including our CEO, Ludovic de Gromard.
6. People time -- 45 minute meeting with Camille Deville, our Talent Acquisition Manager.
